Public luminaires as smart assets for connected cities - a modular approach to increasing energy efficiency, digitalisation and connectivity of urban mobility and public space planning, enabling permanent monitoring of pollution levels.
BBYey is a modular concept that promises to take on a new paradigm for public lighting infrastructures, as multifunctional urban furniture allowing municipalities, among others, to exploit them as assets, rental platforms for various services such as the integration of telecommunications antennas or electric charging stations. In addition to all the information gathered by the wide range of installed sensors and artificial vision to support urban and road management and planning, it also allows to accommodate all the needs inherent in the smarter, more connected cities of the future, where the various services can share the same infrastructures and their respective costs.
